JD SPORTS NL x ZIN IN DE ZOMER FEST NL Terms and Conditions

By taking part in this promotion, you accept and agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any of these terms and conditions, then you should not take part in the promotion. It is your responsibility to ensure that you review the terms and conditions before entering the promotion. We, JD Sport Fashion BV (“JD Sports”), recommend that you print and store or save a copy of these terms and conditions for future reference during the promotion. JD Sports is the promoter of this prize draw in collaboration with Zin In De Zomer Festival (the “Festival”).

1. What can you win?

There will be two (2) winners who will each win:

one (1) x Zin In de zomer Festival ‘Vriendenticket’ (‘vriendenticket’ includes five (5) tickets in total); and

five (5) JD giftcards each worth €150,

together, (the “Prize“).

The Festival is taking place on Sunday 11 August 2024 at Spaarnwoude, The Netherlands.

The Prize is subject to availability. The Prize is subject to winner confirmation (i.e. JD Sports have been able to contact winners and has been able to confirm eligibility). JD Sports have the right to change, alter or withdraw the promotion or Prize at any time due to any change in any applicable law or any events outside the control of JD Sports. JD Sports shall not be responsible for any delay, cancellation or rescheduling of the Prize. If any part of the Prize is not claimed (for whatever reason), JD Sports is under no obligation to supply an alternative prize.

The Prize is not available for sale, transfer, resale, donation, or exchange. Exchanging any part of the Prize package is strictly prohibited (including, without limitation, in person or online via an online auction website or online resale marketplace). JD Sports reserves the right to cancel the promotion and withdraw or make void any and all prize elements if this term is not complied with.

2. What is excluded from the Prize?

It is the winners’ responsibility to organise and pay for anything excluded from the Prize. For the avoidance of doubt, any and all travel to and from the Festival is not included in the Prize, and food and drinks purchased at the Festival are not included in the Prize.

3. Who can enter?

Entrants must be:

aged 18 years or over;

a resident of the Netherlands; and

able to travel to and attend the Festival.

JD Sports reserves the right to ask the winners to provide proof of age. Employees (and their immediate family) of the JD Sports group (http://www.jdplc.com/our-group/sports-fashion.aspx), or anyone else professionally connected with this promotion are not eligible to enter the promotion. JD Sports reserves the right (at its sole discretion) to decide if the eligibility criteria are met. If the eligibility criteria are not met, the entry will be invalid.

4. How to enter

Entrants can enter the promotion by:

following @jdsportsnl & @dutchvalleyfestival;

liking the prize draw Instagram post; and

tagging four (4) other Instagram users on the prize draw Instagram post. Internet service providers’ fees may apply when accessing the internet.

Participation is limited to one entry per person only. If more than one such entry is received, only the first entry will be accepted. No responsibility is taken for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason.

5. Closing Times

The promotion will commence on Friday 2 August 2024 at 12:00 (UTC+2) and will close on Tuesday 6 August 2024 at 23:59 (UTC+2). Any entries received after this date and time will not be valid.

6. How are winners selected?

The winners will be selected on a random basis by a random name generator. The decision of JD Sports is final and binding on all entrants. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the selection of the winners (other than with the winners themselves). The winners will be notified via direct message by @jdsportsnl that they have won and will be required to confirm their acceptance of the Prize within twenty-four (24) hours of the date of the direct message by providing their name and the names of the four (4) friends who will be joining them at the Festival. In the event that the winners do not communicate their acceptance of the Prize within this period, JD Sports reserves the right to pick another winner (in accordance with the procedure set out in this section) and the original winner will waive their rights to the Prize.

7. Winners’ Responsibilities

It is the winners’ responsibility to: organise and pay costs for anything excluded from the Prize, including travel to and from the Festival; (ii) complete all stages of the How to enter section above; (iii) provide accurate contact details; (iv) provide valid proof of age, which is required to enter the promotion; (v) adhere to local laws in the Netherlands (vi) comply with any rules, instructions, requirements, terms and conditions or regulations of the event organiser. Winners will be responsible for complying with the terms and conditions of the JD Gift Card (https://jdsports-client-resources.co.uk/jdsports-client-resources/terms/E-giftcards-en-giftcard-TCs-NL-final.html). Winners will be responsible for acting in accordance with the terms and conditions provided by Zin In De Zomer Festival. JD Sports will not be liable to the winners or any other persons where they fail to comply with such responsibilities and any such failure may result in forfeiture of the Prize.

9. Publicity

By taking part in the promotion, entrants may be invited to participate in publicity at JD Sports’ request if they are a winner of the promotion. Entrants agree that JD Sports (or any third party nominated by JD Sports) may in its sole discretion use their comments relating to the Prize and their experience for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without notice and without any fee being paid (including for the avoidance of doubt when responding to any third party). Any use of images or other personal information that could identify entrants will be subject to the entrants’ consent.

JD Sports reserves the right to withdraw the Prize (or any part of it) if a winner breaches any of the terms in these terms and conditions or if they are found to have acted in a dishonest or fraudulent manner.

10. Which law applies to this promotion?

This promotion is governed by the law of The Netherlands and the participants of the promotion submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in The Netherlands.
