JD SPORTS NL x Store-Opening Terms and Conditions

By taking part in this promotion, you accept and agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any of these terms and conditions, then you should not take part in the promotion. It is your responsibility to ensure that you review the terms and conditions before entering the promotion. We, JD Sport Fashion BV (“JD Sports”), recommend that you print and store or save a copy of these terms and conditions for future reference during the promotion. JD Sports is the promoter of this prize draw.

This prize draw is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram.

1. What can you win?

There will be ten (10) winners who will each win one (1) JD gift card each worth €100.

The Prize is subject to availability. The Prize is subject to winner confirmation (i.e. JD Sports have been able to contact winners and has been able to confirm eligibility). JD Sports have the right to change, alter or withdraw the prize draw or Prize at any time due to any change in any applicable law or any events outside the control of JD Sports. JD Sports shall not be responsible for any delay, cancellation or rescheduling of the Prize. If any part of the Prize is not claimed (for whatever reason), JD Sports is under no obligation to supply an alternative prize.

The Prize is not available for sale, transfer, resale, donation, or exchange. Exchanging any part of the Prize is strictly prohibited (including, without limitation, in person or online via an online auction website or online resale marketplace). The Prize may not exchanged for a cash value, nor is it transferable. JD Sports reserves the right to cancel the promotion and withdraw or make void any and all prize elements if this term is not complied with.

2. What is excluded from the Prize?

It is the winners’ responsibility to organise and pay for anything excluded from the Prize.

3. Who can enter?

Entrants must be:

aged 18 years or over;

a resident of the Netherlands.

JD Sports reserves the right to ask the winners to provide proof of age. Employees (and their immediate family) of the JD Sports group (http://www.jdplc.com/our-group/sports-fashion.aspx), or anyone else professionally connected with this promotion are not eligible to enter the promotion. JD Sports reserves the right (at its sole discretion) to decide if the eligibility criteria are met. If the eligibility criteria are not met, the entry will be invalid.

Commenting the correct location of the new store

Participation is unlimited but only one prize can be won per person. Each entrant can enter the prize draw multiple times by commenting the correct location on the post multiple times provided that steps 1 and 2 listed above have been completed once. No responsibility is taken for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason.

Internet service providers’ fees may apply when accessing the internet. No purchase is necessary to enter the prize draw.

5. Closing Times

The promotion will commence on Thursday 26 September 2024 at 18:00 (Dutch time (UTC+2)) and will close on Sunday 29 September 2024 at 23:59 (Dutch time (UTC+2)). Any entries received after this date and time will not be valid.

6. How are winners selected?

The winners will be selected from those meet the entry criteria. Only those who comment the correct location will be entered into the prize draw. The final winners will be randomly selected using a name generator. The decision of JD Sports is final and binding on all entrants. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the selection of the winners (other than with the winners themselves). The winners will be notified via Instagram direct message by @jdsportsnl that they have won and will be required to confirm their acceptance of the Prize within forty-eight (48) hours of the date of the direct message by providing their name and contact information. In the event that the winners do not communicate their acceptance of the Prize within this period, despite JD Sports’ reasonable efforts to contact them, JD Sports reserves the right to pick another winner (in accordance with the procedure set out in this section) and the original winner will be considered to have waived their rights to the Prize.

7. Winners’ Responsibilities

It is the winners’ responsibility to: (i) organise and pay costs for anything excluded from the Prize (ii) complete all stages of the How to enter section above; (iii) provide accurate contact details; (iv) provide valid proof of age, which is required to enter the promotion; (v) adhere to local laws in the Netherlands (vi) comply with any rules, instructions, requirements, terms and conditions or regulations of the promoter. Winners will be responsible for complying with the terms and conditions of the JD Gift Card (https://jdsports-client-resources.co.uk/jdsports-client-resources/terms/E-giftcards-en-giftcard-TCs-NL-final.html). JD Sports will not be liable to the winners or any other persons where they fail to comply with such responsibilities and any such failure may result in forfeiture of the Prize.

9. Publicity

By taking part in the promotion, entrants may be invited to participate in publicity at JD Sports’ request if they are a winner of the promotion. Entrants agree that JD Sports (or any third party nominated by JD Sports) may in its sole discretion use their comments relating to the Prize and their experience for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without notice and without any fee being paid (including for the avoidance of doubt when responding to any third party). Any use of images or other personal information that could identify entrants will be subject to the entrants’ consent.

JD Sports reserves the right to withdraw the Prize (or any part of it) if a winner breaches any of the terms in these terms and conditions or if they are found to have acted in a dishonest or fraudulent manner.

10. Which law applies to this promotion?

This promotion is governed by the law of The Netherlands and the participants of the promotion submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in The Netherlands.
